Home to the Great Canadian Theatre Company which will be showcasing the “hilarious” play “The Public Servant” this summer, Ottawa is the perfect city to embrace your cultural side. Not forgetting the French language community in Canada, there are also some critically acclaimed French plays on offer with the National Arts Centre. If theatre isn’t your thing, there’s also classical music as well as dance shows on offer.

2. Have a flutter in a casino (or two)

If you fancy placing a bet or two, there are many casinos on offer in Canada. Located all over the country, there is bound to be something local to you. For instance, the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort is the perfect way to combine the stunning scenery on offer at the waterfalls during the day and to relax and unwind with friends in the evening. Of course, it might be wise to practice a little before you take on the big guns in the casino and sites like Royal Vegas Canada are perfect for warming up online from the comfort of your own sofa.
