Australia is, without any trace of doubt, one of the most magnificent places on Earth. Beautiful and still wild in some parts, this country really does have a lot to offer to those who want to visit it. The following places are among the top ones you will want to discover in Australia. They are all stunning and breath-taking and, once you get acquainted with them, it is very likely that you will want to come back again.

Australia is a very large country, but it is also a fabulous place for a road trip. I’d love to visit with a Land Rover Discovery Sport and take a few months to make my way around this diverse and exciting country. Here are some of the places I’d most love to visit:

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park

If there was only one natural landscape I would definitely want to see in Australia, then this would be the one. The beauty of this place goes really beyond words and it is precisely for this reason that this national park has been named a World Heritage Living Cultural Landscape. This is the heart of Australia and it portrays very well just how amazing this country is when it comes to natural spots that take your breath and your heart away. Although it may be appealing for the thrill of it, don’t climb the Uluru because the Aboriginal people here prefer you not to out of respect to their history and culture. Walk around it, take a scenic flight over it or discover it from the back of a camel and you will have the ability to see it in all its glory.

The Kimberleys

It’s really difficult to explain in words just how grand and how beautiful this place is. You will find the Kimberleys in Western Australia, where steep mountains meet waterfalls and where the rugged gorges meet deep lakes. Everything about this place screams “beauty” and you can clearly see some of the striking landscapes Australia is known for.

The Kakadu National Park

Australia is so much more than it’s large cities and its Aboriginal history is very intriguing and beautiful. The Kakadu National Park is not only a stunning place in terms of appearance, but a very rich one when it comes to Aboriginal culture too. Visit it if you want to find out more about the pre-European settlers of this land and if you want to be impressed by how beautiful Australia is.

Tasmania

Tasmania is a spot you simply can’t miss out on if you venture all the way to Australia. This is a whole island state full of natural reserves and stunning natural beauties that are bound to leave you speechless.
