The Middle East will be one of 2018’s hottest travel destination. The region continues to grow in popularity and new attractions have popped up in many different counties. One of the biggest draws for travellers is that while the Middle East was known to be closed off to most of the rest of the world, it’s becoming more welcoming to tourists than ever before.

Here’s where you should travel in the Middle East in 2018:

Dubai

Dubai is one of the most popular destinations for travellers worldwide. Even if you’ve been to Dubai before, 2018 will have plenty of new attractions and surprises. One of these ist he Dubai Frame, which will be an amazing addition to the city’s skyline and attract even more people to Dubai next year.

Abu Dhabi

If you love art, you’ll need to check out the new Louvre Abu Dhabi. The Louvre has long been arguably the most famous museum in the world, and now has a second venue in Abu Dhabi. This makes an excellent addition to some of the other luxurious attractions in the Emriates, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Emirates Palace.

Israel

Haven’t yet booked your flights to Israel? You’ve been missing out. There are so many spots to visit in Israel that you could easily spend a month or two exploring this incredible country. Whether you’re a Muslim, a Christian, a Jew, or you simply enjoy history, Jerusalem is a must-visit. There is also a huge variety of other things to do in the city. Love nightlife? Tel Aviv has an incredible nightlife, and rivals New York and Miami for experiences, atmosphere, and food.

Jordan

Jordan has been a popular destination for tourists for some time. After all, Petra is one of the world’s most impressive (and famous) archeological sites. However, 2018 will also be a great time to visit Amman. Just like Petra, this city has plenty of stunning and unique historical sights. However it’s also becoming even more trendy, with cafes and markets waiting for visitors.

Riyadh

Bet you didn’t think Saudi Arabia would be on the list. While the country has been out of the tourist circuit for a long time, it is now becoming much more welcoming for visitors. With stylish restaurants and record-breaking skyscrapers, this is the perfect place to get a proper taste of the country’s tradition. Not to mention, women are now driving in the country, so you’ll be able to watch history as it happens.
