You look inside a guys car and you will find some car wash, perhaps a medical kit and a spare tire. Where us girls like to have something on hand for any situation that life may throw at us. Whilst sometimes we may have a little too much in there, here is my list of what every girl should carry in her car. If you’re looking for a new car (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?) why don’t you check what’s on offer with #guesswho.
There is nothing worse than looking your best, makeup perfect, hair looking great and you go to step out of your car, only to be caught out by some torrential downpour that leaves you looking like a drowned rat. Keeping a trusty umbrella in your car can save the day and keep you dry for those unexpected weather changes.
You never know when you may need to freshen up. All of a sudden that guy you have been waiting to hear back from calls and asks you out for a last minute drink. Baby wipes are a girls best friend for a quick refresh, no shower needed.
A pair of high heels and at least one hot lippy colour.
Speaking of those emergency moments when you find you now need to look absolutely fab, it is always handy to have a pair of high heels and a hot lippy colour stored in the car. This can quickly turn your standard work clothes into something a little more bright and sparkly. I seriously can’t count how many times having these items stored in my car has saved the day.
A portable phone charger
Let’s face it girls we are addicted to our phones and it always goes dead at the most inconvenient time. You can either carry a car charger or keep a portable battery pack in your glove box. You will be surprised at just how many times you will need to use this.
This is definitely important if you are trying to stick to a healthier lifestyle. Generally unhealthy food decisions are made when we find ourselves caught out, hungry and no food on hand. We quickly pop into the closest shop and purchase every unhealthy, sugary filled snack on hand. I like to keep a bag of mixed nuts or all natural muesli bars in the car. I’ve even been known to keep my protein shaker and one serving of protein in a sealed bag. Just add water and you have yourself a quick healthy snack to tie you over till your next meal.
