We’re all aware of the crazy way the housing market is behaving these days. Luckily, there are still some pockets of sanity in the country. St Louis is one such place.
Although house prices have risen there over the past 12 to 24 months, prices remain pretty affordable. At the moment the average home price stands at around $172,600. Again, when compared with the rest of the country, this is a very appealing average.
Eating and Entertainment

No surprises here, but again it’s not going to break the bank. Groceries here are subject to the same inflation the entire country is experiencing, of course. But because they started off at a relatively low rate, you might feel the pinch a little less than you would elsewhere.
